The creative process at the heart of the exhibition

Through preparatory studies, models, test panels and workshop reproductions, the exhibition "Artists' windows retraces the history of major public commissions in places as prestigious as the cathedrals of Metz, Nevers, Rodez, Digne. -les-Bains or Tours but also in more modest churches such as the church of Audincourt, the chapel of the Minors of Faymoreau, that of Montferrand-le-Château, etc.
The exhibition immerses us in the creative process of artists, accompanied at every step by master glassmakers.
Figurative, abstract, minimalist, the artists invent, with or without lead, a new creative repertoire of stained glass which is now part of the national heritage.
